Description
EASI-DSR Capsule is a dual-acting formulation combining Esomeprazole, a potent proton pump inhibitor (PPI), and Domperidone, a prokinetic agent. This unique combination offers rapid and long lasting relief from symptoms of acid reflux, gastritis, GERD, dyspepsia, and nausea by reducing gastric acid secretion and improving gastrointestinal motility.
Mechanism of Action:
- Esomeprazole irreversibly inhibits the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, thereby suppressing acid secretion at the final step of acid production.
- Domperidone acts as a dopamine D₂-receptor antagonist that enhances gastric motility, accelerates gastric emptying, and prevents reflux by increasing lower esophageal sphincter tone.

Dosage & Administration:
- Recommended Dose: One capsule once daily, preferably before breakfast or as directed by the physician.
- Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew.
