UA RABI-DSR Capsule is a powerful dual-action formulation designed to provide fast and long-lasting relief from acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. Composition
- Rabeprazole Sodium (EC) – 20 mg
- Domperidone (SR) – 30 mg
Therapeutic Class:
- Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) + Prokinetic Agent
Mechanism of Action:
- Rabeprazole: Suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme system in the stomach, providing quick and sustained relief from acidity and heartburn.
- Domperidone: Acts as a dopamine D2 receptor antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility, reduces nausea, bloating, and promotes faster gastric emptying.
Indications:
UA RABI-DSR Capsule is indicated for the treatment of:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
- Acid Peptic Disorders
- Heartburn & Hyperacidity
- Gastritis and Epigastric Pain
- Nausea, Vomiting, and Bloating associated with reflux disease
Dosage & Administration:
- Recommended Dose: One capsule once daily (preferably before breakfast) or as directed by a physician.
